I met Courtney at the THNK School of Creative Leadership in 2014. Watching her develop her business DSIL during our time together was such an inspiration. Many founders choose to lead from the comfort of their homes in the US. Courtney chose to live in South East Asia to be close to social entrepreneurs in that area of the world who previously have had limited access top educational programming. I've seen her in action. She's a true leader, creative thinker, and most importantly....she's walking the walk...making real impact with her growing community of changemakers.

Courtney is a visionary leader in global field-based social innovation education and community building. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Courtney on the development of the first “Designing for Social Innovation and Leadership” (DSIL) program in Thailand and Cambodia during fall 2014. Courtney’s persistence and ability to attract the right people and resources to make her ambitious plans for DSIL a reality was outstanding. Courtney is an excellent community builder, cross-cultural communicator, and synthetic thinker. Her passion for her work and team is palpable. I served on the international board of the World Alliance of YMCAs with Courtney for 8 years. Courtney is one of the most versatile and innovative leaders I've worked with around the world. I've known Courtney for more than ten years, throughout which I have seen her undertake a wide variety of challenges with grace, finesse, and determination.
